Memory foam, latex, and hybrid mattresses are usually the best choice to use with an adjustable bed. They're flexible enough to conform to the curves of your base, and choosing a company that uses quality foam and materials will retain support and durability.

A common question that is often overlooked. We recommend mattresses 12" thick or less. The simple reason is that the thicker the mattress is, the shorter the bed effectively becomes. This phenomenon occurs when the head and foot ends of the bed are raised. As the angle increases, the shape of the bed changes. Essentially, the higher the bed is raised, the shorter it has become. This phenomenon is even more pronounced when you combine this with a thick mattress.

Adjustable beds alleviate some common health problems. Since the bed can be adjusted to suit various sleeping positions, many people have been relieved of cold sensitivity, back and body pain, and heartburn. If your legs or feet swell regularly, adjustable beds can help you sleep and relax more comfortably. If you adjust your posture so that your feet are slightly elevated, blood flow will improve and swelling will disappear. If you suffer from poor circulation, high blood pressure, or diabetes, an adjustable bed allows you to relax and feel comfortable at any time of the day.

Generally, yes. As long as the existing bed frame is the same size (e.g. Your new adjustable bed is queen and your bed frame is queen) And assuming your existing bed frame has box springs, chances are the adjustable base will be compatible with your existing bed frame. If it's not compatible, there's usually a solution that allows installation.

Eastern Split King (EKS): Eastern King Split sheet set OR (2) Twin XL sheets. Also known as “Split King,” each half of the EKS is a Twin XL/Twin Long size. Overall sleeping surface area is the same in the EKS and CKS. The EKS is wider by 4” and the CKS is longer by 4”.

Technically speaking, zero gravity is weightlessness, literally. As its name suggests, it’s the state in which no gravity is present. The zero gravity position raises both the bottom and top halves of the bed. As a result, the sleeper's legs are placed above heart level and the torso is slightly upright in the lying position. This improves circulation, helps distribute body weight, and helps your body relax naturally.

1. Turn off the power supply first before moving the adjustable bed.

2. Always put the Adjustable Bed on a solid flat floor.

3. Make sure that the adjustable bed is in a flat position first before sitting on it.

4. Strictly take note of the weight limits for the adjustable bed.

5. Check for wire damage frequently.

6. Adjustable mattresses have a soft edge that allows them to bend, thus, sitting on the edge will cause the mattress to deform easily.

   Care for adjustable beds are different with each, but follow the manufacturer's instructions and you’re good to go. Be sure to follow specific guidelines from the manufacturer for the best care for adjustable beds.

1. Unpack components for assembly.

   
   

2. POWER CORD SETUP: CAREFULLY open the adjustable bed base into an L position on its side or lay flat with the bottom facing up. This step may require two adults for safety. Ensure all power cord connections circled to the right are completely plugged-in.

   
   

3. ASSEMBLE LEGS: Locate the legs and choose one of the three heights. Make sure the leg with the solid end is touching the floor. Screw six legs into the pre-drilled holes by hand. All legs must be installed and resting evenly on the floor. The base will not operate properly without the legs. The legs must be a minimum of 6” to maintain articulating clearance and must not exceed 12”; anything taller is considered unstable. Violating safety guidelines may result in damage or injury, void the warranty for improper use and may cause damage to the floor.

   
   

4. INSTALL REMOTE BATTERIES: Locate the wireless remote control and insert (3x) AAA batteries (included). The remote control is pre-programmed to work with the adjustable bed base.

   
   

5. INSTALL MATTRESS RETAINER BAR: Slide the retainer bar into the opening at the foot of the bed. Secure the retainer base.

   
   

6. RETURN TO UPRIGHT POSITION: CAREFULLY place the adjustable bed base onto all six legs and plug the power cord into a power outlet. Place a mattress on the adjustable base once the bed is plugged in and functioning correctly. Use a memory foam, latex or acceptable hybrid mattress at least 8” in height.
