Spot Clean: You gotta spot clean everything nowadays, and down alternative comforters are no exception. If you’ve been using your comforter without a duvet cover (we’ll get to you later, you rebel), there’s a likely chance you’ve gotten some kind of schmutz on it. To spot clean stains, put a decent amount of your favorite stain remover directly on the stain and rub it in. Let it sit for a while, and then move on to the loading step. Don’t use bleach for spot cleaning, though, as it’s too harsh for most down alternative comforters.

Load (Carefully): Down alternative comforters and front load washing machines go together like peanut butter and jelly. Front load washers work best because they don’t have one of those pesky agitators that have a bad habit of tearing your bedding. Royal Therapy® warrants that the components in this comforter will be free from defects in material and workmanship as described in this Limited Warranty. Coverage under this Limited Warranty applies only to the original purchaser of a new, unused comforter purchased within the USA, Puerto Rico, and Canada.

If a defect that is covered during the Limited Warranty period occurs, Royal Therapy® will repair or replace (at Royal Therapy’s option) the defective product or component thereof. If it is determined that a replacement is required to honor this Limited Warranty, Royal Therapy® reserves the right to substitute materials of equal or higher quality if the like product or components are not available. Where a replacement is required, Limited Warranty coverage for this comforter is limited to a one (1) time replacement during the original Limited Warranty period which starts on the original date of purchase. Repairs to or replacement of this pillow or its components under the terms of this Limited Warranty will apply to the original warranty period and will not serve to extend such period.

This Limited Warranty does not cover the following: imperfections of the comforter components; mold; comfort or temperature preference; transportation charges (if applicable); any abuse or unsanitary product condition; or damage caused by improper use or care; or if the comforter is no longer within the USA, Puerto Rico, or Canada. This Limited Warranty does not include reimbursement for inconvenience, removal, installation, setup time, loss of use, shipping or any other costs or expenses. Failure to follow the manufacturer’s care instructions may void this Limited Warranty. Royal Therapy does not warrant that this product is suitable for any person's medical condition. In no event shall Royal Therapy be liable for any consequential, incidental, indirect, special, or punitive damages whatsoever in any way arising out the use or inability to use the comforter. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply. Royal Therapy reserves the right to refuse service and invalidate this Limited Warranty when, upon inspection, the comforter is found to be in an unsanitary condition, or when product failure is due to causes other than defective material and/or workmanship. All warranties contained herein are void if the comforter is found to have been tampered with or misused by the purchaser beyond reasonable wear, and shall not apply if the comforter has been physically damaged intentionally or due to accident or neglect, including but not limited to, mold, damage by burns, cuts, water, stains, bodily fluids or is otherwise abnormally soiled, abused or unsanitary. This Limited Warranty does not include a normal increase in softness of the down alternative material, or the discoloration of the comforter fabric. These aspects are natural and do not affect the warmth or comfort qualities of the comforter and its performance. The service terms stated in this Limited Warranty shall be the consumer’s sole and exclusive remedy in the event of a product failure during the Limited Warranty period. Royal Therapy makes no warranty beyond what is contained in this Limited Warranty. Royal Therapy does not authorize any person to create for it any other obligation or ability in connection with this Limited Warranty.
