wow very nice. It just glides up and down. I bought one for over $2000.00 that doesn't work any where as nice as this does. I bought this frame for my mom, she already had a mattress she wanted to keep, we just needed the adjustable frame. Great product.

I have a Royal Therapy mattress to go with this Royal Therapy adjustable bed frame. I have to keep tucking the sheets back under because it pops out and straight up. It does not curve under knee like they show in some Royal Therapy advertisements.The bed is very quiet when in motion. I love this bed frame except for the mattress that pops out at end. Very heavy. sturdy and easy to put together.

This bed was installed to provide comfort to an elderly person and along with the appropriate mattress, it does just that. Sturdy, functional, doesn't take up much room and can work well with an existing headboard or within a decorative bed frame.Time will tell how long the electronics will hold out so hopefully in 5 years out I won't have to complain about a non-functional adjustable bed.There is one flaw, however, as pointed out by other reviewers. Unless the bed is intended for people with height of 6+ feet, the 12 inch legs that it comes with are just too tall. Anyone at 5'5 or below and suffering from mobility issues will have a significant struggle getting in and and out of bed. I knew right away that I had to buy different legs (8.5") which can cost from $60-100. If an option was given during the bed purchase to chose leg size or adjustable legs were provide instead, then this would be a 5 star purchase.

But I had to take 1 star off bcuz an end cap is missing from one of the legs. Not a big deal, but still a part is missing that shouldn’t be from a brand new product. It’s a great bed and I’m madly in love with it. Easy peasy to put together. Just screw the legs in and plug in the electric box. Though I must say that everybody is right about the weight of this thing. I found it hard to believe until it got delivered yesterday. It’s true.A monster in weight. Like Godzilla in a box. And although I’m an old lady but still a stark do it yourselfer in everything, when I got a load of the weight of the box, it was: Dum de dum dump! And I busted my ankles to my neighbor for help with it! LOL! And me and my homegirl got it set up in 5 minutes. But I think that for one person to handle this thing, it’s not gonna happen in 5 minutes. I could have done it by myself but it would have taken about an hour or near that.And I was surprised by the height of the bed. I thought it was gonna low to the floor, but with my 10” foam mattress, it’s the same height of my previous 14” high metal bed, so it’s not near the floor at all. I hope that it will hold up for a least a couple of years with no problems, bcuz I’d buy another one quick, being that this one was on sale for under $250. This bed is the bomb and I highly recommend it!

Does the adjustable base work with any mattress?
What about mattress depth?

A common question that is often overlooked. We recommend mattresses 12" thick or less. The simple reason is that the thicker the mattress is, the shorter the bed effectively becomes. This phenomenon occurs when the head and foot ends of the bed are raised. As the angle increases, the shape of the bed changes. Essentially, the higher the bed is raised, the shorter it has become. This phenomenon is even more pronounced when you combine this with a thick mattress.
Do adjustable beds offer any health benefits?

Adjustable beds alleviate some common health problems. Since the bed can be adjusted to suit various sleeping positions, many people have been relieved of cold sensitivity, back and body pain, and heartburn. If your legs or feet swell regularly, adjustable beds can help you sleep and relax more comfortably. What is Zero Gravity?

Technically speaking, zero gravity is weightlessness, literally. As its name suggests, it’s the state in which no gravity is present. The zero gravity position raises both the bottom and top halves of the bed. As a result, the sleeper's legs are placed above heart level and the torso is slightly upright in the lying position. This improves circulation, helps distribute body weight, and helps your body relax naturally.

How do I care for my adjustable base?
Turn off the power supply first before moving the adjustable bed.

Always put the Adjustable Bed on a solid flat floor.

Make sure that the adjustable bed is in a flat position first before sitting on it.

Strictly take note of the weight limits for the adjustable bed.

Check for wire damage frequently.

Adjustable mattresses have a soft edge that allows them to bend, thus, sitting on the edge will cause the mattress to deform easily.

Do not let the kids jump on it. Or anyone for this matter.

Care for adjustable beds are different with each, but follow the manufacturer's instructions and you’re good to go. Be sure to follow specific guidelines from the manufacturer for the best care for adjustable beds.

HOW TO SET UP YOUR BASE

How do I set up my adjustable base?
Unpack components for assembly.

POWER CORD SETUP: CAREFULLY open the adjustable bed base into an L position on its side or lay flat with the bottom facing up. This step may require two adults for safety. Ensure all power cord connections circled to the right are completely plugged-in.

ASSEMBLE LEGS: Locate the legs and choose one of the three heights. Make sure the leg with the solid end is touching the floor. Screw six legs into the pre-drilled holes by hand. All legs must be installed and resting evenly on the floor. The base will not operate properly without the legs. The legs must be a minimum of 6” to maintain articulating clearance and must not exceed 12”; anything taller is considered unstable. Violating safety guidelines may result in damage or injury, void the warranty for improper use and may cause damage to the floor.

INSTALL REMOTE BATTERIES: Locate the wireless remote control and insert (3x) AAA batteries (included). The remote control is pre-programmed to work with the adjustable bed base.

INSTALL MATTRESS RETAINER BAR: Slide the retainer bar into the opening at the foot of the bed. Secure the retainer base.

RETURN TO UPRIGHT POSITION: CAREFULLY place the adjustable bed base onto all six legs and plug the power cord into a power outlet. Place a mattress on the adjustable base once the bed is plugged in and functioning correctly. Use a memory foam, latex or acceptable hybrid mattress at least 8” in height.
